- Friday, Saturday or Sunday Day Pass: (Access to day events on Friday Saturday OR Sunday only).

Division III:
Division III groups are composed of dancers whose oldest member is 8 years
of age or under, who wish to perform one 5-7 minute non-scored, exhibition
suite. Division III participants must purchase the Division
III package or the Division III package with meals.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Parents/Guardians, if you do not
purchase a Full Participant's Package you will not be able to attend
meal functions with your children. Also, you will be required to purchase
individual night event passes to supervise and attend evening events
with your children i.e. Carnivals, DJ dances, Glendia etc.
Group Roster Information:
All groups in Dance Competition for Division I, Division II and Division III and all groups in Choral Competition in Division I and Division II are required to submit the FDF 2010 Group Roster Form by the deadline date to be eligible to participate at FDF 2010.
Directions on how to submit your group roster form are as follows:
1) SUBMISSION VIA EMAIL
For now we are only requesting the submission of your FDF 2010 Group Roster Form. The FDF 2010 Group Roster Form is due via email by December 15, 2009.
NOTE: You will be PENALIZED 1% of your total score if your forms are submitted by email past deadline.
2) SUBMISSION VIA STANDARD MAIL
Each group is also required to print out a hard copy of your FDF 2010 Group Roster Form, have it signed by your parish priest and sent via standard mail to the following address-- postmarked by December 15, 2009.

3) NAMING YOUR SUBMITTED GROUP ROSTER DOCUMENT
When you have completed your group roster form, save it to your computer with the following name format in ALL CAPS: "GROUP NAME_ROSTER" (Example: NEA ELLAS_ROSTER)

4) ADDITIONAL INFO
• The form is only slightly different. You MUST enter birthdates in this format MM/DD/YEAR. The year of the birth date must be all 4 digits for the formula to work. If you do not enter all 4 digits your form will not be accepted and you will be required to resubmit it with any requested changes.
• The following additional forms: the FDF 2010 Dance Group Performance Form, FDF 2010 Choral Performance Form and FDF 2010 Costume Forms and a request for costume photo's will be emailed to you next week. - In years past these forms and photos are constantly changed last minute by Directors and this year we have decided to give you the latest possible deadline to finalize your forms. These forms must be finalized and emailed in to competition@yourfdf.org by December 28, 2009. Please expect them in your inbox next week.
Also, keep in mind that this team registration is separate from the mandatory individual participant registration, which is on-line at www.yourfdf.org . Please remind your dancers, parents, friends, etc. to register if they haven't already!

Other Important Information
Refund Policy: All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via e-mail or fax on or before November 15, 2009. A $50 processing fee for refunds will be withheld. No refunds will be given after November 15, 2009. There will be no exceptions.
Code of Conduct Policy Statement: All participants and attendees of FDF 2009 agree to abide by and uphold the Code of Conduct Policy Statement. Click here for: Complete FDF Code of Conduct Policy
Chaperone Policy: During FDF weekend, there must be at least one Chaperone for every 7 participants under the age of 18. Chaperones must be over the age of 21 and must purchase the full participant registration package. Click here for: FDF Chaperone Policy Statement
Wristband Policy: All registration wristbands must be properly and securely fastened at all times. In order to receive a replacement band, participants must return their original broken/damaged band. The FDF Management Team reserves the right to remove participants from the event if found misusing the bracelet privilege.
Damage and Liability: The Greek Orthodox Folk Dance & Choral Festival will not be responsible for any damages caused by individual participants of the FDF. Any charges resulting from damage to any of the facilities used and occupied by the FDF will be the sole responsibility of the participant, his/her parents, and/or parish responsible for the damages.
Meals: In order to partake in the Friday and Saturday Brunch and Dinner and the Sunday Brunch, participants must purchase a Full Participant Package with meals. Div. III participants may purchase the Div. III Meals Package. Please note that you will not be allowed into the dining area without having one of the two wristbands, even to simply accompany others.

Although most participants and dancers have already reserved their hotel rooms, the FDF 2010 weekend will be centered in the downtown San Jose area at the following FDF hotels:

Dance Competition Venues
This year, dance competition will take place in two different venues directly across the street from the San Jose Marriott and within a short walk from all area hotels.
Division I and III will be in the San Jose Civic Auditorium and Division II will be held in the Montgomery Theatre. Both facilities offer a classic theatre setting with spectacular staging and audio equipment designed specifically for dancing and performances. These venues will definitely set the stage for what will be one of the most exciting FDF weekends ever. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience FDF in San Jose this January 2010.

Important 2010 Chaperone Information:
It is very important that every dancer under the age of 18 has a designated Chaperone during the FDF weekend. This must be the official Chaperone who is responsible for either a single child or a group of up to seven dancers for the entire FDF weekend.
Agreeing to be a chaperone is a serious commitment that should not be taken lightly. Chaperones must be willing to actively oversee the children they are responsible for, so dancers, please choose a Chaperone that is willing to take on this important responsibility. As always, Chaperones will be asked to review and agree to rules and terms when registering on line. Remember, Chaperones must purchase a Full Participant package in order to have access to all events and will be the main contact person for that child or group for the entire weekend.
Dancers, please make sure that when registering for FDF on line, that you include your official Chaperone in the appropriate fields. We encourage you to confirm your Chaperones early so that when registering, you can include the correct name of the Chaperone that will be designated for you or your group during the FDF weekend.
